“Sophie is a forward-thinking and proactive marketer who is keen to both apply her significant experience and identify and try new methods and strategies to deliver enhanced performance. She is approachable, fun to work with, and applies great attention to detail when planning and tracking success. I would highly recommend working with her.”
“Sophie’s Power Hour was absolutely brilliant - she helped me get unstuck and see things from a different perspective. We got through so much in an hour, and I’m now feeling motivated and raring to go!”
Why work with Sophie Cross?
In 2012, I read Seth Godin’s Purple Cow while working in a corporate marketing role and instantly knew I wanted to follow my own path and have the freedom to do remarkable marketing that didn’t feel possible under the constraints of red tape and board (bored) meetings.
In 2013, I started Thoughtfully, a marketing consultancy that runs workshops to help businesses find their marketing sweet spot—where community focus and creative content come together to drive unforgettable experiences, customers who come back again and again, tell their friends and buy direct.
I have worked with the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), lastminute.com, The London Eye, Thorpe Park, Hilton Hotels, Park Plaza, Visit Britain and the San Diego Tourist Board, to name a few.
In 2020, I founded Freelancer Magazine, a quarterly print-first business magazine and membership for creative freelancers. Freelancer Magazine launched via a wildly successful Kickstarter campaign that hit 150% of its goal and sold 1,000 copies of the magazine before it even existed.
I have a CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing, am a member of the School of Facilitation, and am dedicated to creating engaging team workshops, courses, and strategy sessions that meet the objectives every time and generate serious ROI.
